Introduction on Weight Loss Quest

If you Google 'How to lose weight', you will see more than 100 million results. Are you one of them?

If you have been trying hard to shed the fat from your body but still unsuccessful, please do not give up. Your prayer had been answered! I'll like to start a column on Weight Loss Quest!

I find that this is a calling for me to share with you what I had achieved and I'll like to pay it forward!

I am 1.6 m tall and I used to weight 65 Kg since my earlies twenties. Mr Large was my good friend and I love wearing clothes that was endorsed by him. 
In my late twenties,I decided that I need to do something good to myself before I hit my thirties. I decided to slim down to a decent weight. I started to research on how to slim down organically and train diligently , without having to spend a dime on workout program and supplements. Within 6 months, I went down to 48 Kg. My family and friends commented I was too skinny, so I adjusted my weight to 52 kg. and maintained that weight. Now, I had ditched Mr Large and go for clothes endorsed by Mr Small and Mr Medium.


I had also seen people around me losing weight naturally. My mum who is in her 60s, lose her tummy fat. During Chinese New Year, she wore a waist fitted dress and she looked awesome without the bulging tummy! A couple of hours ago when I met my colleague from another department, I realised he had shaved off a couple of kg!

The pro about losing the extra fat make you become healthier and happier! Your body and mind will be more charged up and you will feel energetic all day! I'll touch on the detail of this part at a later time. 

However I must confess - the journey to become a healthier person is tough but the aftereffect is terrific! As the saying goes " Work hard now so you can enjoy later !"

  • Do you think you are healthy?
  • Do you want to lose weight ? if yes, why?
  • What is your ideal weight?
  • What have you done so far to achieve your goal?

PS : If you cannot wait , you may go back to google ‘How to lose weight ‘ and you will see a lot of useful pointers but I think you would likely forget it after you close the browser. (you may have experienced that). For some, you would likely follow through the process for sometimes and fizzled out. Don’t blame yourself, it’s absolutely normal!
